Who Were the Cathars, and Why Does Their Story Still Matter Today?

Over 800 years ago, in the lands of southern France, a spiritual movement arose that challenged the authority of the Roman Catholic Church. A prophecy foretells that the Cathars will one day return. Could that time be now?

The Cathars held extraordinary beliefs about the divine origin of the soul, the struggle between light and darkness, and liberation from the material world. Women held significant spiritual roles, and their devotion to their beliefs ultimately led to devastating persecution.

What does it mean to live in truth? Who holds our spiritual authority? And what does it truly mean to be free?

Join Eléonore de Posson and Gaia Sophia as we explore:

  • Their History: Who influenced the Cathars, their rise, and the Albigensian Crusade.

  • Their Spiritual Mysteries: Dualism, the divine origin of the soul, and the path to spiritual liberation.

  • Their Relevance Today: What their story invites us to contemplate about truth, freedom, and spiritual sovereignty.
